An Independent Facilitator is an individual who is funded by the Regional Center to support clients to transition to the Self-Determination Program. This service is at no-cost to the client.

SDP is another way to receive services and support. It allows consumers to choose how to spend their Regional Center budget funds. An Independent Facilitator helps you transition to SDP

Person-Centered Planning
Person-centered planning creates a safe space in which participants can discuss their future dreams and visions. It includes them in the decision-making processes. For this meeting all supporters are invited and we meet in-office or virtually on Zoom.

Person-Centered Report Writing
Your Person-Centered Plan will include all of the wonderful information, details, stories, goals, dreams, resources, ideas, proposals, and supports that were shared during the PCP Meeting.

Budget & Spending Plan Creation
The Spending Plan specifies how budget funds will be used to purchase services and supports required to carry out the Individual Program Plan (IPP). I help you create this Plan.

Advocating for YOU, or your loved ones, needs
I can support clients by attending the Individual Program Plan (IPP) meeting, budget meetings, and helping to identify, and advocate, for unmet needs.

Continued IF support throughout your SDP journey can support with navigating Financial Management Services (FMS), hiring staff, and yearly tasks for updating SDP paper-work and meeting goals.
